Originally created and marketed under the brand Xceive in 2002, the CrestaTech patented SmartTuner™ architecture featuring CPU calibrated LNA and DSP algorithms correcting for extreme signal conditions or impairments. CrestaTech’s Smart Tuner™ technology portfolio includes IC design techniques specifically enabling tuner on board or COB designs. A variety of top tier flat panel TV makers have adopted CrestaTech Smart Tuner ICs and have led the trend towards the elimination of the simple CAN tuners of the past.
