The Find My app is a godsend for someone who frequently misplaces their AirPods and other Apple items.
With this program, you can quickly locate your misplaced iPhone, Apple Watch, MacBook, Mac Mini, and AirPods on a map or make a sound to alert you to its whereabouts.
Let’s see how you can use the Find My app on your iPhone to find your AirPods.
1. On your iPhone, look for the Find My app. Open it. This app is already installed on your phone and cannot be removed.
If you can’t find it, roll down to your main screen and type ‘Find My‘ into the phone’s search box at the top.
If it’s not preinstalled, you can download the Find My app in the App Store.
2. Now, swipe down at the bottom of the screen, select ‘Devices‘, and select your AirPods from the list.
3. Look at the map to discover where they were last linked. Near your AirPods name, you’ll also find the nearby street address.
4. Tap ‘Play Sound‘ if your AirPods are close.
This function in the Find My application makes your AirPods make a ‘beep‘ sound.
It won’t be particularly loud, but you’ll be able to see and hear it if they’re close.

2. Using iCloud On Web Browser
1. Go to icloud.com/find in your browser. Any major web browser will work.
2. Then use your Apple ID and password to log in. You can try Forgot Apple ID or Password if you don’t remember your Apple ID or password.
3. Select All Devices. This will be seen at the very top of your screen.
Your Apple Devices will be listed just at the bottom of your screen if you’re using a mobile device.
If your AirPods aren’t shown, slide up to see all of your Apple devices.
4. After that, Select your AirPods. On a map, this will indicate their last known location.
5. Click Play Sound to find the AirPod.
6. Then, click both Mute Left and Mute Right icons to locate one AirPod at a time.
